Mumbai, March 9 (NationPress) Renowned music composer Tushar Lall is making his mark in the mainstream with Shauna Gautam's film 'Nadaaniyan', featuring Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor.

Tushar has skillfully created the background score for the movie, offering a distinctive mix of orchestral sounds blended with modern Gen Z influences.

Reflecting on his inspiration, Tushar stated, "The central idea was a significant source of inspiration for me, as it's uncommon to merge something as modern as Gen Z with orchestral music for enhanced drama. This film presented a fantastic opportunity to do both, which was exhilarating. I perceived it as a unique realm to explore, and I genuinely enjoyed the process. The venture embodied the grandeur and orchestral elements typical of a Dharma film while integrating remixes of the Miss Briganza theme from 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai'. Merging these two realms was undoubtedly challenging, yet I feel we successfully found a space for them to coexist harmoniously. It was an invigorating and fulfilling journey."

He was also inquired, “Nadaaniyan presents a modern Gen Z interpretation of the classic Miss Braganza theme from ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’. What was your creative approach to reimagining this renowned theme, and how did you maintain a balance between nostalgia and contemporary flair?”

In response, he said, "For Miss Braganza, there has been a significant transformation in her character—from one of the central figures to a mentor for the students. Consequently, the tone of the Miss Braganza theme had to resonate with the youthful Gen Z audience attending an elite school in Delhi. This naturally called for a fusion of modern elements while retaining the feminine essence of Miss Braganza. To accomplish this, I utilized numerous synths and experimented with the iconic vocals—'Miss Braganza, Aha!'—almost remixing them and employing them as samples in the score.

Tushar elaborated, "I modified these components to amplify comedic timing and craft lighthearted moments in the film. Recording Miss Braganza in the studio was a surreal experience, given that we have all grown up watching 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai'. Repurposing such a legendary theme for the score felt both nostalgic and creatively stimulating."
