Mumbai, Jan 26 (NationPress) Author Twinkle Khanna, who is also married to Bollywood icon Akshay Kumar, has publicly defended actress Kareena Kapoor Khan following accusations that she was allegedly under the influence during the assault on her partner, Saif Ali Khan.
On Sunday, Twinkle took to her Instagram to convey a heartfelt message, expressing that society often fails to recognize wives as anything more than scapegoats for their husbands’ troubles.
She stated, “This Sunday highlights the issue of why wives are rarely regarded as the top priority, except when it comes to assigning blame. After an actor was attacked, absurd rumors circulated that his wife was either absent or too intoxicated to assist him. People seem to relish in shifting the blame onto the wife, which is a recurrent theme. When the Beatles separated, Yoko Ono was blamed.
