Mumbai, September 27 (NationPress) - Bollywood author, columnist, and actress Twinkle Khanna celebrated a significant milestone on September 27 as her younger daughter, Nitara Kumar, officially entered her teenage years.

To commemorate her 13th birthday, Twinkle posted a delightful GIF on her Instagram account, showcasing herself, her mother Dimple Kapadia, and sister Rinkie Khanna. She cleverly captioned it, "It's the little one's birthday, but the real circus is clearly over here. Three women, one photo booth, and absolutely no dignity. Any bets on who's the mother?"

The trio donned oversized party goggles and held amusing placards. One read, "Cheers to 13 years"; another announced, "Finally 13, ready to party"; while the third boasted, "#Swagger". They posed against a dazzling golden paper backdrop, adding a festive touch to the family's celebration. Nitara, daughter of Twinkle Khanna and superstar Akshay Kumar, has now officially embraced her teenage journey.

Interestingly, the family shares a unique bond as Twinkle Khanna's three most cherished ones—husband Akshay, son Aarav, and daughter Nitara—were all born in September. On the professional front, Twinkle is currently gaining traction with her OTT talk show, “Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle”, which has been trending at number one on its platform since its debut.

Her combination of humor and incisive commentary has resonated with audiences, reinforcing her status as one of Bollywood's most successful transitions from films to writing and digital media. Her sister, Rinkie Khanna, took a different route after marrying London-based businessman Sameer Saran in 2003, stepping away from the film industry.

The couple's daughter, Naomika Saran, has become a paparazzi favorite in recent years, often admired for her striking likeness to her grandmother Dimple Kapadia. The matriarch, Dimple Kapadia, remains one of Hindi cinema's most celebrated actresses. She debuted as a teenager in Bobby in 1973 and married India's first superstar, Rajesh Khanna, at just 16.

Becoming a mother at 17 with Twinkle's birth and later welcoming Rinkie, Dimple separated from Rajesh Khanna in the early '80s but co-parented their daughters while forging a successful second career in films with acclaimed works like “Sagar” and “Rudrangi”.

Twinkle herself found love in 2001 when she married Akshay Kumar, one of Bollywood's most prominent stars, and they are proud parents to Aarav and Nitara.
