Mumbai, Sep 18 (NationPress) Reflecting on cherished memories, Bollywood star Urmila Matondkar reminisced about her initial encounter with National Award-winning actress Shabana Azmi during the iconic film Masoom's photo shoot in 1983.
In a heartfelt birthday tribute for Shabana, who celebrated her 75th birthday on Thursday, Urmila took to Instagram to share several nostalgic images from the film, which is based on the 1980 Erich Segal novel Man, Woman and Child and marked her debut as a child performer.
Urmila wrote: “Year 1983..location Janki Kutir. Tiny, anxious n nervous me see the the great Shabana Azmi for the photo shoot of Masoom n thereafter it’s been an exceptional bond of love, respect, admiration, learning, laughter, madness n so much more (sic).”
She continued: “There are numerous things I could thank you for but above all it would have to be for constantly reminding me “how to live life at its fullest with everything that it throws at you”!!!
