Mumbai, April 7 (NationPress) Actress Urvashi Rautela has responded to the online trolls who draw comparisons between her and fellow actress Nora Fatehi.
With a poised demeanor, Urvashi has clarified that she is not easily swayed by negative online chatter. In an interview with IANS, the ‘Sanam Re’ star stated, “I don’t take everyone’s opinions personally. I’m not easily impacted by harmful remarks. If someone is rude, I choose not to let it affect me. Each actor contributes their unique essence to the industry.”
“For instance, when people compare me to Nora Fatehi or any other actress, it doesn’t bother me because every artist has their own niche. It’s crucial for our generation to perform excellently, similar to the actors from the past who laid the foundation for Bollywood’s advancement. We have a duty to excel in every role and keep the industry vibrant,” she further elaborated.
Discussing her latest track, “Touch Kiya” from her forthcoming film, ‘Jaat,’ Urvashi mentioned, “In Daku Maharaj, I portrayed a police officer, focusing entirely on acting. However, in this song, I didn’t dance at all. There are no dance moves; I simply embodied the character. I represented the essence of a lioness, channeling fierce, powerful energy. If you watch closely, just focus on my eyes, and you’ll see the persona of a lioness shining through. The song possesses a unique vibe because the composer, Thaman, integrated various animal sounds—such as a lion’s roar and a lioness’s call. The theme is distinctive. The lyrics, ‘I’ll give my heart to you, but first say sorry,’ reflect a strong, bold personality akin to that of a lioness.”
Urvashi also discussed collaborating with Sunny Deol, Randeep Hooda, and Vinit Kumar Singh in the upcoming action drama.
“It’s absolutely fantastic! All three of my heroes—Sunny Deol, Randeep Hooda, and Vinit Kumar Singh—are involved in this film. Sunny Deol gave me my debut leading role in ‘Singh Saab The Great’, where I played Minnie. I also portrayed Randeep Hooda’s wife in ‘Inspector Avinash’ and Vinit Kumar Singh's spouse in another project. Therefore, working with all three in a single film is a dream come true. It feels like a reunion, and I’m overjoyed,” the actress expressed.
Additionally, the captivating dance number ‘Touch Kiya’ features Urvashi demonstrating her dance skills alongside the fierce villain duo Randeep Hooda and Vineet Kumar Singh.
‘Jaat,’ featuring Sunny Deol in the lead role, is scheduled for theatrical release on April 10, 2025.
