The original song “Sandese Aate Hai” from the 1999 film Border was performed by Sonu Nigam and Roopkumar Rathod. Featuring Sunny Deol, Suniel Shetty, Akshaye Khanna, and Jackie Shroff, the lyrics were penned by Javed Akhtar.
This classic composition by Anu Malik has now been reinterpreted by Mithoon, with fresh lyrics from Manoj Muntashir Shukla.
Directed by Anurag Singh and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta, Border 2 is set to hit theaters on January 23.
