Mumbai Jan 22 (NationPress) Actor Ahan Shetty, who is eagerly anticipating the release of his forthcoming film Border 2, has conveyed heartfelt appreciation to Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan for their familial support on set.

In a post on his social media, the Tadap actor shared snapshots featuring the main cast of Border 2 and expressed his gratitude towards each of them.

Referring to Sunny Deol as a father figure, Ahan remarked, “Sunny Sir — A genuine father figure to me on set. Your quiet strength, humility, and steadfast dedication have been truly enlightening. Being in the presence of someone with such a rich legacy yet remaining so grounded is incredibly humbling.”

Discussing his relationship with co-star Varun Dhawan, Ahan shared, “Varun — I regard you as an older brother and am forever thankful for the love and encouragement you've shown me throughout this journey. Your daily commitment and sincerity have always exceeded expectations, and that generosity will forever resonate with me.”

Addressing Diljit Dosanjh, another key player in Border 2, Ahan expressed, “Diljit Sir — Your warmth and support, embracing me like a younger brother, mean more than words can say. Your kindness, humor, and energy create an atmosphere that is comforting and joyous. You reminded me that happiness is equally vital as hard work.”

He also shared a note of appreciation for actress Mona Singh, stating, “Mona Ma’am — Your talent as an actor is matched only by your genuine kindness and down-to-earth nature. Collaborating with you and sharing the screen with someone so inspiring has been an absolute delight.”

Ahan extended his gratitude to co-stars Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh, and Medha, saying, “Sonam — You embody grace effortlessly. Every moment spent with you felt respectful and genuine. Anya — You brought a calm presence with exceptional acting instincts. Your ability to convey so much without uttering a word has left a lasting impression on me.”

The note for Medha read, “Medha — Your authenticity and freshness serve as a reminder of the inspiration that new journeys can bring, even as seasoned experiences shape us.”

Ahan also expressed his gratitude to the creators of Border 2 in his carousel post.

He captioned the post with, “Some journeys linger long after the work concludes, primarily due to the people one encounters along the way. Beyond the lens and lights, it was the respect, kindness, and passion for the craft that made this experience unforgettable. I am genuinely thankful for the memories, lessons learned, and the people who made it all so special. Just one day until the film is available for the world to see. I feel grateful, excited, and a bit nervous. I can’t wait for everyone to experience it.”

Previously, Ahan reflected on the 'challenging times' following his debut in Tadap in 2021, sharing a heartfelt message on his social media.

He remarked, “December 3, 2021… Tadap, my inaugural film. The start of a dream I embraced with hope, trepidation, and everything in between.”

“The journey that followed was deeply challenging… Periods of doubt, silent struggles, and lessons that only time and persistence can impart. Growth seldom comes without hardship, and each moment has sculpted who I am today,” he added.

The actor further expressed gratitude for the lessons learned and shared his eagerness for his second Bollywood film. “I cherish all these experiences. January 23, 2026… Just a few days away from my second film, Border 2, coming your way. A new chapter forged from patience, perseverance, and faith. With a fuller heart, steadier conviction, and the same dream, now more robust than ever.”

He concluded, “I hope you will accompany us, share in this journey, and wholeheartedly support this film. Your support would mean more than words can convey.”

As for Border 2, the film features Ahan Shetty alongside Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, and Diljit Dosanjh, and is set to be released on January 23 this year.
