"I eagerly anticipate seeing them in action under the guidance of @anurag_singh_films. Best wishes to the entire team.. #Border2," the 'Dhurandhar' actor continued.
At the teaser launch event for 'Border 2', Varun shared an amusing story. He disclosed how he ensured that a specific line from the movie made it into the final cut with a little assistance from Sunny Deol.
During filming, Varun and the crew heard a battle cry from the aspirants at the academy, where a portion of the film was shot.
He recounted how a senior officer shouted to energize the aspirants, asking, "Awaaz kahan tak jaani chaahiye? Lahore tak (Where should the voice reach? It should reach Lahore)."
Varun believed this line needed to be included in the film.
“I thought, we must include this moment. If it wasn’t written, it wouldn’t have made it into the script. I then approached Sunny sir and whispered, ‘Sir, please do this; it’s a significant and authentic moment. Please use it,’” Varun revealed.
He added, “That’s why I only used it in the teaser. I wasn’t sure if it would work, so I went after Sunny paaji. I can't express how I felt; I got goosebumps. The trainer’s voice must have actually reached Lahore, the way it sounded.”
