Key Takeaways
Mumbai, March 24 (NationPress) Bollywood star Varun Dhawan humorously reflected on his fitness regimen, revealing how his trainer has been incessantly motivating him with relentless “taanas” (taunts), humorously likening them to those of a mother-in-law.
Varun shared a lighthearted video on his Instagram stories from the gym, appearing shirtless while discussing his trainer who was beside him.
The actor mentioned how he endures a long day of filming, only to hit the gym afterward and “smash” his workout. Adding a humorous twist, he suggested that one should engage a trainer who is not shy about offering taunts.
In the clip, Varun stated, “When you shoot the whole day but you got to come to the gym to smash your workout.”
The 38-year-old actor further joked that his trainer has surpassed a typical “saas” in terms of constant nagging.
“Aur taane dene waala yeh get yourself a trainer who gives you taanas…. Isne mujhe itne taane diye jo mere saas ne mujhe aaj tak nahi diye mere ko itne taane diye hai last 1 hafte se… bas taane taane.”
Earlier, Varun had also posted a picture flaunting his impressive physique and sculpted abs.
In another Instagram post, he was seen lifting dumbbells while gazing intensely into the mirror.
“Hai jawaani toh workout karna hain Par aap kaunsi bhi age ho kar lo.” wrote the actor.
Varun's upcoming project is titled “Hain Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hain,” a romantic-comedy.
The title is reportedly inspired by the track “Ishq Sona Hai” from the iconic 1999 film “Biwi No.1,” directed by David Dhawan, featuring Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor, and Sushmita Sen.
Produced by Ramesh Taurani under the TIPS banner, this much-anticipated film will feature a star-studded cast, including Mrunal Thakur, Mouni Roy, Chunkey Panday, Maniesh Paul, Jimmy Shergill, Rakesh Bedi, Ali Asgar, Kubbra Sait, Rohit Saraf, Rajeev Khandelwal, Nitish Nirmal, and Sreeleela in pivotal roles.
