Mumbai, Dec 6 (NationPress) Actor Varun Dhawan, who is getting ready for the release of his upcoming movie 'Baby John', has sought parenting advice from his producer Atlee on techniques to help his newborn daughter fall asleep.

Varun shared a clip on Instagram featuring a video call with Atlee while discussing the release of 'Baby John'.

In the footage, Varun, holding a milk bottle, answers the call and states: “

Hello Baby John Hi Sir, 25th December Sir Christmas release.”

Atlee responds: “Sir Baby John I am super excited”

Varun expresses his enthusiasm, saying he is “pumped up,” and then asks Atlee to hold for a moment as he steps away briefly, returning with a diaper bag.

Varun admits: “Sir I can go shooting 2 days 2 nights without sleeping but putting the baby to sleep is tough sir. Sir, you are also a father, help me now.”

Atlee shares that he has been playing a song to help his son Mir sleep for the past year.

“Awesome. It's my favorite song Sir. Can you give me the song Sir now?” requests Varun.

Atlee informs him that the song will be released on Saturday.

“But I need to be released now Sir. It's coming to you,” Varun concludes.

In a collaborative post, Atlee and Varun captioned: “Father duties just got a whole lot easier with Pikley Pom! Big love to the genius @atlee47 and our @MusicThaman for creating magic yet again P.S. This marks Varun’s first lead role following the arrival of his daughter Lara in June. Previously, he made a cameo in the hit film ‘Stree 2’ alongside Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao.

Recently, Varun showcased his dance moves in front of the iconic Taj Hotel located in the Colaba area of Mumbai.

He took to Instagram, sharing a video of himself performing the signature step of the song ‘Nain Mattaka’ from 'Baby John' in front of the Taj Hotel.

His caption read, “Kya app ne kabhi iconic jagah pe dance kiya hain #nainmattaka Outside the Taj Mumbai. Good vibez only . #babyjohn ki Christmas (sic)”.

‘Baby John’ features Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Jackie Shroff. Directed by Kalees, the film adapts the 2016 Tamil movie 'Theri', which was helmed by Atlee of 'Jawan' fame.

The movie was officially announced in July 2023 under the working title 'VD18', marking Varun's 18th project as a lead actor, with the official title revealed in February 2024.

The film features music by Thaman S, cinematography by Kiran Koushik, and editing by Ruben.

Produced by Jio Studios, Cine1 Studios, and A for Apple Productions, the film is set for release on December 25, 2024.
