In a post on his X account a day after the award announcement, Vijay wrote, "I am incredibly honored to accept the Kantha Rao Memorial Award at the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards 2025. This recognition, named after the iconic Nata Prapoorna Kantha Rao garu, is truly humbling.
