Chennai, July 29 (NationPress) Actor Vijay Deverakonda recently lauded music composer Anirudh Ravichander, stating he had "infused life" into the much-anticipated action film, 'Kingdom'.
During a promotional pre-release event in Chennai for director Gowtham Tinnanuri's action spectacle 'Kingdom', Vijay Deverakonda shared insights about the film, emphasizing the desire to produce it in Tamil, given the overwhelming affection he has received from the state's audience.
In his address, Vijay expressed gratitude to two individuals while in Chennai. He recognized Suriya for lending his voice to the film's teaser and commended Anirudh for his significant contribution to the film’s music.
"He (Anirudh) performed at our pre-release event just yesterday, and today, he’s already in Chennai, ensuring the final cut of Kingdom is flawless before it heads to the US. I adore Anirudh. During my visit for Kushi, I expressed my admiration for him and quipped about wanting to kidnap him. At that time, I had yet to meet Anirudh in person.
"Over the past few months, I’ve spent quality time with Anirudh. I visited Chennai, enjoyed moments with him and his team at the studio, played pickleball, and listened to music. We even spent time in Hyderabad. Now, my desire to kidnap him has intensified! I want to keep him with me forever! Thank you for everything you’ve done," he added.
Vijay noted the profound impact of Anirudh's words on audiences, stating, "Every word Anirudh utters holds immense significance. When he mentions, 'I watched 40 minutes of Kingdom, and it's outstanding,' it spreads like wildfire. People regard Anirudh's opinions with more seriousness than mine. When he proclaimed this film would be a landmark in our careers, my friends began saying, 'Ani has given his stamp. This film is a guaranteed success.'"
Kingdom, directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri, is set to release worldwide on July 31. The film features music by Anirudh Ravichander and is co-produced by Naga Vamsi S and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, with presentation by Srikara Studios.
