Mumbai, Sep 7 (NationPress) Renowned filmmaker Vikram Bhatt is in mourning as he remembers his beloved mother, Varsha Bhatt, who passed away at the age of 74 on Saturday. She had been enduring a lengthy illness prior to her passing.
Vikram expressed his sorrow through a poignant message on his official Instagram account.
The creator of 'Raaz' wrote on the photo-sharing platform: "My mother Varsha Bhatt left us on the morning of September 6, 2025. She had been in pain for several months, but I believe she is now in a better place (sic)."
He continued, "Grief is cyclic in nature. Initially, it feels like an unending sob lodged in your chest, refusing to release its hold. Gradually, a brief pause in the sob emerges, as life’s monotony takes over, only to return even stronger. I understand that the intervals between grief and normalcy will extend; they say time heals all wounds, but that moment hasn’t arrived for me yet. I often ponder if it will come at all."
Offering prayers for his mother's peace, Vikram added: "I am thankful to all who have shared in this pain with me. Here is my prayer for her as she finds a place with the source.
