Chennai, Feb 28 (NationPress) Producer Vipin Das, associated with the blockbuster franchise 'Vaazha', recently took to social media to celebrate the film's director, Savin SA. He expressed that the director, who has masterfully captured the essence, energy, and emotions of the franchise, truly deserves all the accolades that are coming his way.

On his Instagram, Vipin Das shared a heartfelt message on Savin SA's birthday, stating, "I am thrilled to present Savin SA as the Director of Vaazha II. He has been my companion for many years, serving as a steadfast supporter within my direction team. His ability to visualize the franchise's energy, mood, and emotion is unparalleled. Notably, the film's release is slated for April 2 this year, with the production team announcing the completion of filming.

Back in November, the creators revealed that the eagerly anticipated sequel, featuring actors such as Hashir, Alan, Ajin, and Vijayan, had successfully wrapped up its shooting.

Vipin Das had announced on Instagram, "After 115 days, we have completed filming for 'Vaazha II - Biopic of a Billion Bros!' As in the past, we are excited to introduce new talents alongside beloved seasoned actors to deliver the best experience. Can't wait to see you in theaters!"

The original film, directed by Anand Menen, featured a star-studded cast including Jagadheesh, Kottayam Nazeer, Azees Nedumangad, Noby Marcose, Siju Sunny, Amith Mohan Rajeswari, Jomon Jyothir, Anuraj O.B, Saafboi, Anshid Anu, and Sruthi Manikandan, and achieved remarkable success at the box office.

The feel-good film, known for its tagline 'The biopic of a billion boys', resonated with audiences and became a significant box office hit.

This success inspired the team to create a sequel, solidifying the film as a franchise.

At the announcement of the second installment, Producer Vipin Das expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support for 'Vaazha', stating, "Your response has motivated me to collaborate with fresh talent. We are excited to unveil 'Vaazha II - Biopic of a Billion Bros!'. I am proud to introduce our debut director, Savin SA, and cinematographer Akhil Lailasuran, who have been instrumental in my journey. He also outlined the core team for this sequel, listing himself as the writer and Savin SA as the director, alongside co-producers Harris Desom, P.B Anish, Adarsh Narayan, and Icon Cinemas.

In terms of filming locations, 'Vaazha 2' was shot in diverse settings including Dubai and Georgia, with the unit recently concluding their schedule in the UAE, accumulating a total of 106 shooting days.
