Vivek Oberoi Declares ‘Bromance Begins’ as Filming for ‘Masti 4’ Kicks Off

Mumbai, Dec 15 (NationPress) The fourth chapter of the “Masti” series is officially on its way, with actor Vivek Oberoi proclaiming that the bromance begins.
On Sunday, Vivek shared a comical video on Instagram featuring filmmaker-writer Milap Zaveri playfully attempting to kiss his co-star Riteish Deshmukh. The amusing clip showcases Zaveri in a lighthearted moment as he hugs Riteish.
Vivek captioned the post: “Masti4 is now officially a love story… The bromance begins! 20 years of madness since the first one! Sorry, I couldn’t make it for the launch boys… Will see you at the shoot super soon.”
Actor Aftab Shivadasani also shared a photo on his Instagram, showcasing himself with the film's clapboard. He uploaded another picture alongside Riteish and Zaveri, and one featuring the cast, director, and veteran star Jeetendra.
Aftab commented: “The madness begins. The funniest of them so far #masti4.”
The original “Masti”, released in 2004, was a sex comedy directed by Indra Kumar, and featured stars like Ajay Devgn, Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh, Aftab Shivdasani, Lara Dutta, Amrita Rao, Tara Sharma, and Genelia D'Souza. This film was followed by two sequels: “Grand Masti” in 2013 and “Great Grand Masti” in 2016.
“Grand Masti”, also helmed by Indra Kumar, featured the same ensemble cast but presented a new storyline. The film also included Bruna Abdullah, Karishma Tanna, Sonalee Kulkarni, Kainaat Arora, Maryam Zakaria, and Manjari Fadnis.
As for “Great Grand Masti”, it uniquely blended horror with sex comedy. Vivek, Riteish, and Aftab reprised their roles from the earlier films, while the third installment introduced Urvashi Rautela, Shraddha Das, Mishti Chakraborty, Pooja Bose, and Sanjay Mishra.
Milap, who is set to direct this new film, has previously worked on titles like “Shootout at Wadala”, “Satyameva Jayate”, and “Marjaavaan”.
