Mumbai, Dec 6 (NationPress) Actress Archana Puran Singh, who serves as a permanent guest on the streaming comedy sketch series ‘The Great Indian Kapil Sharma’, fondly recalled her interactions with legendary actress Rekha. She disclosed how she once inquired about the “He” in Rekha’s life, to which Rekha responded with a rhetorical question instead of a direct answer.

Rekha made a recent appearance on a new episode of the show.

On Friday, Archana took to her Instagram to share a collection of pictures featuring both herself and Rekha. In her caption, she wrote a heartfelt message, motivating everyone from small towns to aspire for greatness and pursue their dreams.

She expressed, “When I saw Rekhaji's Sawan Bhadon, I was just a child in a small town, with little hope of ever stepping foot in Bombay, let alone meeting her in person! Years later, I had the opportunity to work alongside her in ‘Ladai’, where she invited me to her makeup room to offer advice on makeup and applying fake eyelashes, a trend she was renowned for starting in Bollywood.”

Additionally, she reminisced, “I have cherished memories of us conversing on a Filmcity lawn, and when I asked her about the identity of the 'he' she mentioned, she replied with a 'you don’t know who HE is?' She is kind-hearted, she is unstoppable, she is a living legend, and it has been an utter joy to meet her each time! Dreams can indeed come true for children from small towns. Thank you, Rekhaji, for making that night unforgettable. I will always treasure the iconic live performance with @krushna30 that evening.”

The actress was alluding to the widely discussed relationship between Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha.

Meanwhile, The Great Indian Kapil Show also features talents like Sunil Grover and Rajiv Thakur. The second season aims to honor Indian culture and its rich heritage with the country’s superstars.
