Mumbai, Sep 22 (NationPress) Actress Raveena Tandon once shared how the legendary actor and writer Kader Khan supported her during one of the toughest times in her life, providing affection, advice, and guidance like a genuine father figure.

In an older episode of the chat show “Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai,” Raveena connected via video call to discuss her relationship with the esteemed actor. Explaining why she refers to Kader Khan as ‘Dad,’ she expressed, “Hi, dad. I wish I could be on your show right now. But do you know how much I love you? I say this openly for everyone to hear. I greeted him with ‘hi dad’ for the audience because I have worked on numerous films where he portrayed my father. That’s why every time I see him, I say hi dad. And here’s a little secret: Brother Qadar.”

Raveena further added, “Now I must share this publicly. Brother Qadar and I are email buddies. We exchange messages and share secrets. And during the most challenging period of my life, he genuinely placed his hand on my head like a father would, showering me with immense love and care.”

“I never saw him as just an actor playing a role. Brother Qadar, I want to express on camera that the love and warmth you showed me, which many say you don't exhibit often, is something I can never thank you enough for. Like a daughter, I will always support you and be there for you,” concluded the ‘Mohra’ actress.

Kader Khan and Raveena Tandon collaborated on various projects, including “Dulhe Raja,” “Aatish: Feel the Fire,” “Main Khiladi Tu Anari,” “Gharwali Baharwali,” and “Akhiyon Se Goli Maare,” among others.

Kader Khan passed away on December 31, 2018, in a Toronto hospital after battling a prolonged illness.
