Mumbai, Dec 30 (NationPress) Kannada cinema superstar Yash, widely recognized for the ‘KGF’ franchise, has appealed to his fans to prioritize their safety and awareness during his birthday festivities.
The actor expressed that his true happiness stems from seeing his fans flourish and chase their aspirations.
On Monday, he took to Instagram to share a message in both Kannada and English, urging his fans to avoid extravagant celebrations.
He reflected on the tragic events that transpired during his previous birthday celebrations, which sadly resulted in the loss of lives.
His message stated, “As the new year approaches, it’s a moment for contemplation, resolutions, and setting a fresh path. The affection you all have shown me over the years is nothing less than remarkable. However, there have also been some tragic incidents. It’s time to transform our expressions of love, particularly concerning my birthday. The manifestation of your love should not involve grand displays and gatherings. The most significant gift for me is knowing you are safe, setting positive precedents, achieving your ambitions, and spreading happiness.”
He continued, “I will be occupied with filming and will not be in town on my birthday. Nevertheless, the warmth of your wishes will always reach me and be my enduring source of motivation. Please stay safe, and I wish you all a joyful 2025.”
Previously, on his last birthday, three of his fans tragically lost their lives in the Gadag district of Karnataka while trying to set up a large birthday cutout. The actor promptly visited the grieving families to offer his condolences and support. Following this heart-wrenching incident, Yash urged his fans to avoid hanging banners, participating in hazardous bike chases, and taking reckless selfies.
Currently, Yash is filming for 'Toxic: A Fairytale For Grown-ups’. The film is co-produced by Venkat K Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, and directed by Geetu Mohandas. It is anticipated to be a major crowd-pleaser.
