Mumbai, Dec 6 (NationPress) Iconic actress Zeenat Aman, celebrated as the Queen of Instagram, is finishing the year on a humorous note with a collection of laugh-out-loud memes.
On Friday, the actress shared multiple memes showcasing her from her earlier years on her Instagram account.
She added a witty caption, stating, “It’s the end of the week and the end of the year, and I simply must share these hilarious memes that the kids created. I was considering a lengthy caption, but I’m feeling quite jovial.”
She went on to say, “So here’s a meme for a variety of moods. Share the one that resonates with you this Friday! Or, if you have a more amusing caption than those in the images, feel free to drop it in the comments. Meme-at Aman is back.”
Previously, the actress reflected on the notion of imperfections and how social media has intensified issues of self-obsession.
In a longer note, she remarked, “The first and last images are from an impromptu shoot in Goa, along with some behind-the-scenes shots! My photographer @taralouphoto and stylist @taniafadte are rather displeased with how my bob looks in the first image, but I chose to post it regardless. I had blow-dried my hair that morning, but it didn’t withstand the late monsoon humidity.”
She pondered how peculiar it is when individuals scrutinize their own physical appearance so closely.
She added, “I haven’t verified the studies, but I suspect social media has only exacerbated our superficial self-obsessions. I observe it on my own feed - stunning individuals airbrushed into bland duplicates of each other. Every unique physical trait has been standardized. It’s particularly disheartening when you reflect on the attributes that you find beautiful in your loved ones. It’s typically something that makes them distinctive, and which we would never want them to alter. Don’t think for a second that I haven’t faced this odd dysmorphia myself.”
