Quetta, Aug 5 (NationPress) A minimum of three Baloch youth were forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces during the latest crackdown on Balochistan, as reported by a prominent human rights organization on Tuesday. Paank, the Human Rights Department of the Baloch National Movement, revealed that security forces executed a violent operation at the home of Sadiq Baloch, a teacher in the Kech district. The raid involved physical assaults on women and children present in the house.
The organization stated that in a clear act of oppression, the forces forcibly took away Sadiq's young son, Sanjar Sadiq.
In another similar case, Paank reported that Dadshah Baloch, a medical assistant, was detained and forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces from Singabad while returning home from work in Turbat, the principal city of the Kech district.
Moreover, Shunas Baloch, a resident of Sari Kallag in the Gowarkop area of Kech, was forcibly taken by security forces on August 2. Earlier, he, along with others, had been stopped at Pidrak Check Post for approximately an hour where they were subjected to unnecessary questioning. Following their release, the forces blocked their path minutes later, resulting in Shunas's illegal arrest. His family still does not know his whereabouts, nor has he been brought before any formal court.
In the early hours of Monday, the rights organization reported that Zahid, a resident of Kuros Tank in Kech, was forcibly disappeared by Pakistani security forces from Pakeer Colony in Gwadar. His location remains unknown.
In another alarming incident, Paank stated that Shah Jahan Murad was executed while in police custody and his body was discarded in Panjgur district on Monday. He had been forcibly disappeared by security forces from the Chitkan area of Panjgur on July 29, 2025. After enduring severe torture while detained, his lifeless body was found. The organization noted a disturbing increase in cases of murders occurring in custody, which is devastating the community.
The human rights organization condemned such killings and demanded accountability at the international level for the various forms of Baloch genocide, including the current trend of in-custody murders following enforced disappearances of Baloch individuals.
Pank expressed strong condemnation of the recent incidents of enforced disappearance and raised serious concerns regarding the escalating pattern of abductions targeting Baloch students and civilians.
