New Delhi, Nov 7 (NationPress) Indian security agencies are currently on high alert as Bangladeshi terror factions are orchestrating a significant infiltration into Indian territory. Following the ousting of Sheikh Hasina and the rise of Jamaat-e-Islami, these groups have flourished, with numerous militants released from incarceration and granted autonomy.

They operate with remarkable audacity, holding open meetings while security forces seem to overlook their activities.

Intelligence reports indicate increased communication among terrorists in Bangladesh and their logistical supporters in India. These groups are also connecting with their sympathizers within India, signaling a well-coordinated infiltration initiative.

While the northeastern borders are being closely monitored, West Bengal remains a focal point of concern.

Intelligence sources reveal that these groups have a substantial network in regions like South 24 Parganas, Murshidabad, Birbhum, and Malda.

These areas have long been suspected as operational hubs for Bangladeshi terror factions.

Recent intelligence suggests a surge in activities in West Bengal, indicating that ISI-supported terror groups from Bangladesh may be planning a serious incursion.

Furthermore, security agencies are monitoring fugitive naxalites, who may be approached by these terror organizations. Many of these individuals have evaded capture since the naxal movement's inception in 1967.

Initially, these groups intended to infiltrate through northeastern states but have since shifted focus toward West Bengal.

Over the years, they have established extensive networks in the state, employing a multitude of operatives to facilitate infiltration.

These networks in West Bengal have not only assisted with infiltration but have also been involved in the circulation of counterfeit Indian currency and drug trafficking.

Many individuals engaged in these illicit activities have garnered significant wealth, allowing them to forge high-level connections that facilitate their operations.

West Bengal has been susceptible to infiltration and illegal activities for numerous years. Data from the past three years reveals that a total of 2,688 Bangladeshi nationals were apprehended, with South Bengal contributing significantly to this figure.

With Muhammad Yunus at the helm of the interim government, radical groups have experienced a resurgence. The ISI has transformed Bangladesh into a training ground for terrorists, dispatching retired army officials to provide instruction.

They have advised these groups to unify, which suggests that major factions like Harkat-ul-Jihadi Islami (HuJI), Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT), Jamaat-e-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB), and Hizb-ut-Tahrir (HUT) will collaborate effectively.

The ISI believes that this unity will bolster their strength and minimize the potential for ideological disputes or territorial conflicts.

According to intelligence sources, all these terror organizations maintain a network in West Bengal, which the ISI has now been instructed to activate.

Even networks positioned on the Bangladeshi side of the West Bengal border have become increasingly active, signaling a looming wave of terrorist infiltration into India.
