Quetta, Jan 19 (NationPress) In the context of increasing violence and intensified security operations in Balochistan, a prominent human rights organization has reported the alleged forced disappearance of three additional Baloch civilians, implicating Pakistani security forces in these recent occurrences.
The Baloch National Movement's Human Rights Department, known as Paank, stated that on January 17, two siblings, Imran Baloch and Rizwan Baloch, were taken from their residence in the Tusp area of Panjgur district by the Pakistani military.
“This enforced disappearance is yet another tragic chapter in the ongoing human rights abuses in Balochistan,” the organization remarked.
Additionally, Paank disclosed that another Baloch individual, Owais Ahmed Qambrani, from the Kharan district, was forcibly taken from the Sarawan area on the same day, along with his vehicle, during a raid on a dairy farm conducted by the Pakistani security personnel.
Condemning these incidents vehemently, the organization called for prompt accountability for the perpetrators.
Paank expressed solidarity with the families of the victims and urged both local and global organizations to take action against such human rights violations in Balochistan.
Meanwhile, Tara Chand, President of the Baloch American Congress, accused the Pakistani army of abducting girls and women from their homes throughout Balochistan for several months, detaining them in torture facilities.
On social media platform X, Chand remarked, “No one knows the horrors inflicted upon these innocent women. Even pregnant women are being taken by Pakistani soldiers. Many of these women have small, innocent children waiting at home for their mothers. These brutalities are part of an effort to suppress the Baloch movement, but the Baloch people will not be silenced or broken.”
“The international community must not turn a blind eye to these crimes. We will not forgive the inhumane treatment of innocent Baloch women. The Pakistani army should be ashamed of its actions against these women,” he added.
The Baloch leader urged the global community to stand up and take action against the “cruel and oppressive” actions of the Pakistani military.
