Dhaka, Sep 2 (NationPress) In the last 24 hours until Tuesday morning, three additional individuals have succumbed to dengue in Bangladesh, bringing the total fatalities from this mosquito-transmitted illness to 125 this year.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) reported that these recent fatalities occurred in the Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), various regions within Dhaka Division (excluding city corporation areas), and Chattogram Division (outside city corporation areas), as shared by United News of Bangladesh (UNB).
During this timeframe, 473 more patients were hospitalized with viral fever, raising the total dengue cases this year to 32,501.
