On Thursday, Lebanon's Ministry of Health released a statement indicating that an Israeli drone strike aimed at a vehicle on the Arnoun-Yohmor route resulted in a fatality, as per Xinhua news agency.
A Lebanese security official identified the deceased as Mohammad Ali Marouni, a Hezbollah member hailing from Arnoun in the Nabatieh district of southern Lebanon.
According to reports from Lebanese authorities, three Hezbollah members have lost their lives and another has been injured due to separate Israeli attacks on southern Lebanon over the last two days.
In a related development, Lebanon's state-run National News Agency noted that an Israeli Apache helicopter conducted three successive strikes within a thirty-minute window on the village of Houla in southeastern Lebanon, targeting a prefabricated structure owned by the Wataawano Association.
The agency further reported that early in the morning, the Israeli army targeted another prefabricated building in the village of Adaisseh.
In another incident, a drone released a stun grenade over a residence in Kfar Kila, while a similar device was dropped over the ruins of al-Dhahira School in western southern Lebanon.
These cross-border strikes occur in spite of a ceasefire agreement established on November 27, 2024, which was supposed to end over a year of conflict associated with the war in Gaza.
