Davos, January 21 (NationPress) India has established itself as a stable and reliable long-term ally for Europe, drawing increasing attention and investment from the continent, stated Lucia de Luca, CEO of Ahead Company, on Wednesday.
While discussing India’s prominent role at the global summit during the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting, de Luca expressed her satisfaction with India's significant presence along the Davos promenade.
Having attended the forum regularly, she observed that India has adopted a much stronger and more visible stance this year, which she considers vital for a nation that is garnering substantial global focus and investment.
“As a regular participant at Davos, I see that this year you are truly taking a strong position, which is crucial for a country like India that is definitely attracting a lot of attention and investment,” she shared with IANS.
She noted that Europe is increasingly recognizing India as a trusted and dependable partner, a perspective evident in the rising frequency of visits by European presidents and leaders to India.
“Europe is increasingly viewing India as a long-term collaborator, which is mirrored in the growing number of visits by European leaders to India,” de Luca remarked.
India is poised to make a significant impact at the annual WEF meeting in Davos, with Union Ministers, Chief Ministers from various states, and over 100 CEOs of leading Indian firms in attendance from January 19 to 23.
The Indian delegation aims to promote the nation as an appealing investment destination amidst ongoing global economic uncertainties.
India’s political and business leaders are emphasizing the country’s status as the fastest-growing major economy worldwide.
Union Ministers attending the forum include Ashwini Vaishnaw, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Pralhad Joshi, and K. Rammohan Naidu, while Chief Ministers such as Devendra Fadnavis, N. Chandrababu Naidu, A. Revanth Reddy, Mohan Yadav, Hemant Soren, and Himanta Biswa Sarma are also present to showcase investment opportunities in their respective states.
