Is the All-Party Delegation in the UAE Exposing Pakistan's Terrorism Support?

Abu Dhabi, May 22 (NationPress) The second all-party delegation, led by Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde, touched down in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) early Thursday morning (Indian time) as a key part of India's extensive global outreach initiative known as Operation Sindoor. This initiative aims to unveil Pakistan's involvement in promoting cross-border terrorism.

The delegation features prominent figures such as BJP MPs Bansuri Swaraj, Atul Garg, and Manan Kumar Mishra, alongside BJD's Sasmit Patra, IUML MP E.T. Mohammed Basheer, BJP leader S.S. Ahluwalia, and former Ambassador Sujan Chinoy. Subsequent stops include Liberia, Congo, and Sierra Leone.

In a statement, the Indian Embassy in the UAE shared, "We are conveying India's strong message against terrorism! A warm welcome to the All-party delegation led by Shrikant Shinde to the UAE. The delegation was received by Ahmed Mir Khoori, Member of the Federal National Council, and Indian Ambassador to the UAE, Sunjay Sudhir."

The embassy further emphasized that the UAE is the inaugural nation to host the All-Party delegation related to Operation Sindoor, highlighting the profound ties between India and the UAE.

Prior to their visit to the Middle Eastern nation, Shinde expressed that this represents a tremendous opportunity for the team to assert India's unwavering commitment against terrorism.

"Our mission is unequivocal: to challenge state-sponsored terrorism, particularly from Pakistan, on the world stage. We aim to showcase the significant achievements of Operation Sindoor and reaffirm India's legitimate Right to Self-Defense as per International Law," he stated in a post on X.

Shinde added, "This delegation will convey a powerful, unified message to the international community, reflecting India's steadfast position against terrorism and our deep-rooted pledge to promote global peace and security."

The inaugural delegation of Indian parliamentarians, led by Janata Dal-United MP Sanjay Kumar Jha, also arrived in Tokyo with a clear message underscoring India's zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism.

This delegation includes a diverse spectrum of leaders from various political parties, such as former External Affairs Minister and Congress leader Salman Khurshid, CPI(M) MP John Brittas, BJP MPs Aparajita Sarangi, Brij Lal, Pradan Baruah, Hemang Joshi, Trinamool Congress's Abhishek Banerjee, and Ambassador Mohan Kumar.

The overarching goal of the campaign is to present a unified Indian front against terrorism and to internationally isolate Pakistan by shedding light on its continuous support for terror networks.

The MPs are set to engage with foreign governments, legislators, media outlets, civil society, the Indian diaspora, and international organizations, including the UN.

They will provide evidence of Pakistan's support for terror groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), and its ongoing protection of individuals designated as terrorists globally.

This initiative stands as one of India’s most robust and coordinated foreign outreach efforts in recent years, aimed at cultivating global consensus against state-sponsored terrorism.
