Jerusalem, April 6 (NationPress): Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reaffirmed on Monday that Israel will press on with its military operations against Iran with unwavering strength on every front until the threat is eliminated and the goals of the conflict are achieved. Netanyahu articulated Israel's determination while acknowledging the deaths of Majid Khademi, the head of intelligence for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), and Asghar Bagheri, the commander of Unit 840 in the Quds Force.

He further cautioned of dire repercussions for anyone orchestrating terror against Israel or contributing to the creation of the so-called Iranian axis of evil.

"Another significant branch of the Iranian terrorist regime has been cut off. This evening, we successfully eliminated Majid Khademi, head of the Intelligence Division in the Revolutionary Guards, a prominent figure in the Iranian regime who had just recently taken over following the elimination of his predecessor. Additionally, we took out Asghar Bagheri, commander of Unit 840 in the Quds Force, who was accountable for assaults against Jews and Israelis globally," Netanyahu posted on X.

"Anyone who attempts to take the lives of our citizens, anyone who directs terror towards the State of Israel, anyone who contributes to the Iranian axis of evil — their blood is on their own hands. We are responding with resolve and strength — we will track down everyone who wishes to harm us. We will continue with full force across all fronts until the threat is neutralized and the objectives of this war are reached," he added.

Earlier in the day, Israel Defence Forces (IDF) confirmed the death of Majid Khademi. In a statement shared on X, the IDF stated that Khademi was involved in advancing terrorist operations globally and was responsible for surveilling Iranian citizens as part of the regime's efforts to suppress domestic protests.

"ELIMINATED: Majid Khademi, the Head of Intelligence of the IRGC. Khademi was one of the most senior commanders within the IRGC and had extensive experience over the years. He worked to promote terrorist attacks around the world and was responsible for monitoring civilians in Iran as part of the regime's suppression of internal dissent," the IDF posted on X.

In a separate announcement on X, the IDF also confirmed the elimination of Asghar Bagheri. "ELIMINATED: Asghar Bagheri, the Commander of the Quds Force’s Special Operations Unit. In recent years, Bagheri has been involved in numerous attacks targeting both Israel and the international community. Furthermore, Bagheri personally supervised operations against IDF soldiers along the Syrian-Israeli border."

On Sunday, the IDF reported the killing of Mohammad Reza Ashrafi Kahi, the Head of Commerce at the IRGC’s Oil Headquarters in Tehran.

"ELIMINATED: Mohammad Reza Ashrafi Kahi, the Head of Commerce at the IRGC’s Oil Headquarters in Tehran. Ashrafi oversaw the commercial operations of the Oil Headquarters, which are estimated at billions of dollars annually, and supported the enhancement of the IRGC’s military capabilities, along with those of the Houthis, Hezbollah, and Hamas," it posted on X.
