Seoul, Jan 15 (NationPress) An individual in South Korea suffered severe injuries on Wednesday after self-immolating close to the investigation office where the impeached President Yoon Suk Yeol was being interrogated regarding his brief declaration of martial law, according to police reports.
The unidentified man set himself ablaze in a grassy area adjacent to the Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials (CIO) in Gwacheon, situated just south of Seoul, at approximately 8:05 p.m., as per police statements.
