Thimphu, Nov 12 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to meet Bhutan's Fourth King and participate in the Kalchakra ceremony on Wednesday, marking the conclusion of his two-day visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and reaffirming the commitment to the Neighbourhood First Policy.
On Tuesday, Prime Minister Modi engaged in comprehensive discussions with King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck of Bhutan, exploring various avenues of cooperation, including energy, capacity building, connectivity, technology, defense, and security.
Following their talks, the leaders inaugurated the 1020 MW Punatsangchhu-II hydroelectric project, a significant collaboration that highlights the expanding energy partnership between India and Bhutan.
