Is Elon Musk Right to Demand Trump's Impeachment Over Epstein Files?

Washington, June 6 (NationPress) Elon Musk has called for the impeachment of US President Donald Trump following accusations that Trump's name appears in the Epstein files, as reported by various media sources. In response to the President's remarks regarding the cancellation of government contracts, Musk announced the immediate decommissioning of the critical SpaceX program.

“Due to the President's statements about ending my government contracts, SpaceX will start decommissioning its Dragon spacecraft right away,” Musk wrote in a post on X.

A CNN report highlighted the significance of the Dragon spacecraft, which previously facilitated the return of two NASA astronauts who were stranded on the International Space Station for nine months. The spacecraft also plays a crucial role in transporting both cargo and personnel to the ISS.

According to SpaceX, the Dragon spacecraft is the only operational vehicle capable of returning substantial amounts of cargo to Earth.

The relationship between Musk and Trump deteriorated further when the President threatened to “terminate Elon’s Governmental Subsidies and Contracts,” a move that could have severe repercussions for Musk's business interests and the operations of the International Space Station.

On his platform Truth Social, Trump stated, “The easiest way to save billions in our Budget is to eliminate Elon’s Governmental Subsidies and Contracts. I was always surprised that Biden didn’t do it!”

Musk dropped a significant allegation, claiming that Trump's name is in the Epstein files, suggesting that this is the reason why pertinent details of the investigation have not been made public. He tweeted, “Time to reveal the major secret: Donald Trump is in the Epstein files. This is the real reason the information hasn’t been disclosed. Have a nice day, DJT!”

In response to Musk's claims, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt remarked, “This is an unfortunate episode from Elon, who is dissatisfied with the One Big Beautiful Bill because it doesn’t include the policies he desired. The President is focused on passing this historic legislation and rejuvenating our country.”

Trump suggested during a press conference that Musk is opposing his One Big Beautiful Bill Act because of dissatisfaction over the removal of electric vehicle incentives, stating he is uncertain about their friendship moving forward, alleging that Musk was aware of the bill's specifics.

Musk didn’t refute the claim regarding the EV tax credits in a tweet responding to Trump, expressing that it was “very unfair!!” that oil and gas subsidies remained in the bill. He further added, “This bill was never shown to me even once and was passed in the middle of the night so quickly that almost no one in Congress could even read it!”
