Manila, July 26 (NationPress) The death toll in the Philippines has tragically risen to 30 due to the southwest monsoon, which has been intensified by three tropical cyclones, leading to devastating flash floods and landslides across the nation since last week, according to a Philippine government agency on Saturday.
In their report, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) indicated that seven individuals are still unaccounted for, either being swept away by the floods or buried under landslides.
Additionally, the calamity has resulted in 10 injuries.
The agency confirmed 13 of the 30 fatalities reported.
Moreover, over 1.46 million families, equating to around 5.30 million people, have been affected nationwide.
