Tianjin, Sep 1 (NationPress) Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his high regard for the contributions made by India and other key partners in the quest for a resolution to the Ukrainian conflict on Monday.
"We greatly appreciate the initiatives and suggestions put forth by China, India, and our other strategic partners aimed at resolving the Ukrainian crisis," Putin remarked during the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit.
He also noted that the agreements he reached with US President Donald Trump during their recent summit in August have paved a way towards peace in Ukraine.
"The agreements established at the recent Russian-American summit in Alaska, I believe, are contributing to this direction, providing an avenue for peace in Ukraine," Putin stated at the SCO Summit.
