Ottawa, Nov 29 (NationPress) The Indian High Commissioner to Canada, Dinesh K. Patnaik, engaged in a vital meeting with Scott Moe, the Premier of Saskatchewan. This meeting represents a crucial effort to reinforce the bilateral relations between India and Canada.
During their discussions, the two leaders explored significant opportunities to enhance cooperation, particularly in areas such as food security, fertilizers, energy, and strategic alliances.
Patnaik expressed his gratitude, stating, "Thank you, Scott Moe, for your warm hospitality. Our discussions highlighted the immense potential to further strengthen India–Canada ties, especially in food security, fertilizers, energy, and strategic cooperation. Saskatchewan is a key partner in advancing the India–Canada relationship," as quoted by the Indian High Commission in Ottawa.
After the meeting, Scott Moe shared on X, "Great meeting with India's High Commissioner to Canada, Dinesh Patnaik, to discuss how both nations can progress on energy and food security."
Earlier in the week, Patnaik also held discussions with Danielle Smith, the Premier of Alberta, where they covered essential areas of their bilateral partnership, including energy, trade, agriculture, technology collaboration, research, and people-to-people connections.
Patnaik remarked, "Honoured to meet Premier Danielle Smith. We had an excellent discussion on key aspects of our bilateral partnership: energy, trade, agriculture, technology collaboration, research, and people-to-people ties.
