As per Taiwan's MND, 12 out of the 21 sorties breached the median line of the Taiwan Strait. In reaction to these military maneuvers, Taiwan’s defense forces kept a vigilant watch and deployed aircraft, naval vessels, and coastal missile systems.

This recent military incursion aligns with a recurring trend of Chinese military activity near Taiwan. Just the day before, Taiwan reported the sighting of 28 Chinese military aircraft, six naval vessels, and two official ships near its territory. According to the statement, Taiwanese forces monitored the situation and reacted to the Chinese military actions.
The MND noted on X that "28 PLA aircraft, 6 PLAN vessels, and 2 official ships operating around Taiwan were detected until 6 a.m. (UTC+8) today. 24 out of 28 sorties crossed the median line and entered Taiwan’s northern, southwestern, and eastern ADIZ. We have been monitoring and have taken appropriate action."
Similarly, the ministry highlighted Chinese military presence near its territory on Friday. As stated on X, the MND indicated, "17 PLA aircraft, 9 PLAN vessels, and 2 official ships operating around Taiwan were detected up until 6 a.m. (UTC+8) today. 9 out of 17 sorties crossed the median line and entered Taiwan’s northern and southwestern ADIZ. We have been monitoring and responded accordingly."
Taiwan continues to contend with threats from China, which views the self-governing island as a part of its territory under the One China principle and seeks its reunification with Beijing. Despite these ongoing pressures, Taiwan, supported by robust public backing, firmly upholds its sovereignty and reacts to incursions from China.
