Washington, May 23 (NationPress) A judge in Massachusetts has temporarily halted the Trump administration's directive that aimed to revoke Harvard University's ability to enroll international students.
This ruling was issued just a day after the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) rescinded Harvard's authorization to utilize the SEVIS system—Student and Exchange Visitor Information System—marking an intensification of President Donald Trump's campaign against the prestigious Ivy League institution.
The DHS notification also mandated that current foreign students enrolled at Harvard must either transfer to another institution or risk losing their status.
