The USA stands ready to help!!!” Trump expressed in a post. Shortly after, he shared another message highlighting a protest abroad, stating: “Protester climbs the Iranian Embassy in London, removes regime flag, and raises a pre-revolution emblem.”

Reports from US media outlets indicated that these posts coincided with ongoing demonstrations throughout Iran, persisting despite severe communication restrictions. Video clips circulated by Persian-language media outside Iran showcased crowds in various cities, though confirming details proved challenging due to the communication blackout.

Fox News reported a significant cut in internet access across Iran, citing monitoring organizations and experts who noted that connectivity had plummeted to alarmingly low levels. This shutdown hindered basic services and complicated communication both within Iran and with the outside world.

The same reports indicated that protesters demanded substantial political reforms, with some displaying symbols associated with Iran's former monarchy. US media referenced rights organizations reporting arrests and fatalities as security forces attempted to disperse protests in multiple cities.

The New York Times reported that Trump has received briefings in recent days regarding new military strike options concerning Iran, contemplating the possibility of following through on his threats to retaliate against the country for its crackdown on demonstrators.

Fox News detailed that a protester ascended the balcony of Iran’s embassy, removed the Islamic Republic's flag, and replaced it with a symbol from the pre-revolutionary era.
