Washington, March 11 (NationPress) The White House has declared that the conflict between the United States and Iran will conclude once the military goals of Operation Epic Fury are successfully met, with President Donald Trump maintaining final decision-making authority regarding the operation's end.

During a recent briefing, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt noted that the operation was progressing more swiftly than anticipated, but emphasized that the timeline for its conclusion would ultimately hinge on the President’s evaluation of whether the mission's objectives have been fulfilled.

“The operations will cease when the commander-in-chief concludes that the military goals have been completely realized, and that Iran is positioned for total and unconditional surrender, regardless of their statements to the contrary,” Leavitt informed the press.

Initially, the Pentagon estimated that the operation could last approximately 4 to 6 weeks.

“The President and the US military's preliminary timeline was set at around 4 to 6 weeks to achieve the comprehensive objectives of Operation Epic Fury,” she stated.

These objectives encompass dismantling Iran’s missile capabilities, incapacitating its naval forces, and preventing the nation from acquiring nuclear weapons.

“Our goal is to obliterate their missile capabilities, destroy their navy, permanently deny them nuclear weapons, and weaken their nefarious terrorist proxies in the region,” Leavitt explained.

The White House reported that the campaign has already inflicted significant damage on Iran’s military strength.

“Over 5,000 enemy targets have been engaged thus far,” she added.

Leavitt also noted a marked reduction in Iranian retaliatory actions since the operation commenced.

“Iran's ballistic missile strikes have dropped by more than 90%, and their drone assaults have decreased by approximately 35% since we initiated Operation Epic Fury,” she said.

US forces have also focused on targeting Iran’s naval assets.

“We have successfully destroyed over 50 Iranian naval vessels, including a significant drone carrier,” Leavitt stated.

The White House asserted that the Iranian navy is now largely incapacitated in vital regional waters.

“None of the regime's ships are currently operating in major regional waterways, and we assess the Iranian navy as combat ineffective,” she remarked.

Leavitt indicated that the military campaign is shifting its focus to dismantling Iran’s weapons production infrastructure.

“The US military is actively working to dismantle Iran's missile manufacturing capabilities,” she noted.

She confirmed that US strategic bombers have been deployed to target well-concealed missile facilities.

“Our remarkable B-2 bombers recently dropped numerous 2,000-pound penetrator bombs on deeply buried missile sites,” she stated.

The White House reiterated that the primary aim of the operation is to neutralize Iran’s capacity to threaten the United States and its allies.

“The objectives for Operation Epic Fury remain unchanged: eliminate the terrorist regime's ballistic missiles, obliterate their missile industry, ensure their proxies can no longer destabilize the region, and guarantee that Iran never acquires nuclear weaponry,” Leavitt emphasized.

She concluded by stating that it would be up to President Trump to decide when those conditions have been satisfactorily met.

“Once those objectives are achieved, the decision to conclude this operation will rest with the President,” she said.

The United States commenced Operation Epic Fury after determining that Iran was advancing towards the acquisition of nuclear arms and expanding its missile capabilities, according to the White House.
