This order was booked on January 13, with the Department serving as a Logistics Service Provider, and the delivery was accomplished on January 15. The inaugural order was placed by UdyamWell, an ONDC-enabled initiative dedicated to supporting Bharatpreneurs, including artisans, farmers, and rural entrepreneurs.
This achievement signifies a crucial advancement in the Department of Posts' mission to provide digitally enabled and interoperable logistics services throughout the country. “The consignment was successfully delivered on January 15, 2026. The first order from UdyamWell is a significant milestone in our journey towards offering digitally enabled logistics solutions,” the ministry highlighted.
With this integration, sellers utilizing ONDC-enabled buyer applications can now opt for the Department of Posts for services such as parcel pickup, booking, transportation, and delivery.
