Jaipur, Feb 6 (NationPress) Rajasthan's Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari stated on Thursday that the BJP government is addressing the potholes left behind by the Congress administration.

She also pointed out that the BJP government is dedicated to filling the potholes created during the Congress era.
“The rampant corruption and ineffective governance during the Congress regime resulted in potholes replacing proper roads,” Kumari asserted while discussing road conditions in the Assembly.
In response to a query from MLA Laxman Meena, she noted that a total of 111 roads in the Bassi Assembly constituency are covered under the guarantee period.
“Of these, contractors have completed repairs on 63 roads without prior notice, while the remaining 48 roads were repaired after notices were issued,” she explained.
The Deputy Chief Minister reassured that the government is committed to enhancing road conditions, with necessary repairs underway.
“There was a lack of quality in the roads built during the Congress rule. They are accountable for the poor road conditions in the state. However, we are diligently working on repairing these roads and ensuring quality in construction,” she asserted.
She further emphasized that all roads would soon meet higher quality standards.
