The gathering was led by Adv. Pranav Thakkar, President of the Gujarat Legal Cell, alongside Ajit Lokhil, Gujarat State Organisation Minister.
A significant turnout of both young advocates and senior members joined AAP during this event, which featured distinguished appearances from AAP Trade Wing President Shivalal Barsiya and Rajkot City President Dinesh Joshi. Notable attendees included senior lawyers J.M. Kuwadiya, Jit Piplia, and Yash Pan, along with community figures such as Paresh Dholariya, Ashok Virda, Savan Limbasiya, Mahesh Ramani, Vaju Molia, Rikkin Chovatia, Deval Lunagaria, Ashok Nathani, Narottam Sanghani, Devang Vekaria, Ratilal Molia, Dhruvil Nathani, Bachhu Bharwad, and Deepakbhai Limbasiya.
The success of the program was significantly attributed to the efforts of organisers Adv. Vivek Limbasiya and Vishal Nathani. AAP has steadily established itself within Gujarat’s political framework, marking its presence as an emerging force.
During the 2022 Gujarat Assembly elections, AAP achieved five seats and captured 12.92 percent of the vote share, positioning itself as the third-largest political entity after the BJP and Congress—an outcome that also facilitated its elevation to national party status.
Subsequently, the party maintained its standing by winning the Visavadar by-election in June 2025, further solidifying its local significance.
Despite AAP’s advancements, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) continues to dominate Gujarat’s political sphere, maintaining authority across essential legislative and local domains.
In the 2022 state assembly elections, the BJP achieved a remarkable victory by claiming 156 out of 182 seats, securing 52.5 percent of the vote—its most substantial mandate in the state thus far.
When accounting for recent by-elections, the party's assembly presence has risen to 162 seats, significantly ahead of its rivals.
In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP retained 25 out of 26 parliamentary seats in Gujarat, with only Banaskantha slipping to Congress, preventing a complete sweep.
In local body elections held in February 2025, the BJP again demonstrated its influence, winning 215 seats unopposed and leading in numerous municipal and panchayat races.
