New Delhi, Sep 19 (NationPress) The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), affiliated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, successfully reclaimed the President's position from the Congress-backed National Students' Union of India (NSUI) during the recent elections. Aryan Maan emerged victorious, along with his party members Kunal Chaudhary and Deepika Jha, who won the positions of Secretary and Joint Secretary, respectively.
In the Vice President category, Rahul Jhansla from NSUI secured the position. The new DUSU President-elect, Aryan Maan, garnered 28,841 votes, significantly outpacing NSUI's Joslyn Nandita Choudhary, who received 12,645 votes. Maan will succeed last year's NSUI President, Ronak Khatri.
