Prayagraj, Jan 28 (NationPress) The ongoing Mahakumbh 2025 in Prayagraj, which has already attracted over four crore devotees to take a sacred dip at the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers, continues to garner religious enthusiasm and acclaim.
As part of this monumental spiritual assembly, the Adani Group, in collaboration with ISKCON, has been offering complimentary food prasad (sacred offerings) to millions of devotees.
On the fifteenth day of the Mahakumbh, a significant moment occurred when Meerut MP Arun Govil, renowned for his role as Lord Ram in the legendary TV series Ramayan, participated in the Mahaprasad distribution effort. Govil personally handed out food prasad to devotees, enhancing the initiative’s positive impact.
Arun Govil commended the endeavors of the Adani Group and ISKCON in delivering free, satvik (pure) food to the devotees, describing it as a commendable service during such an extensive religious occasion.
“This free and altruistic food prasad initiative by Adani and ISKCON is a tremendous service for the devotees at Mahakumbh,” stated Govil.

Mahant Peer Shri Shernath Ji Maharaj of Gorakhnath Math, who journeyed from Junagadh, Gujarat, to partake in the Mahaprasad service, also conveyed his gratitude.
“The Mahaprasad being offered here is an exceptional initiative by the Adani Group. I thank them and extend best wishes to all group members on behalf of the Mela Samiti,” he commented.
The Maha Kumbh, celebrated every twelve years, is set to witness even larger crowds, with over 10 crore devotees expected to join in the grand Mahasnan (holy bath) on Mauni Amavasya.
This historic event has already drawn millions of pilgrims, adhering to the sacred tradition of bathing at the Triveni Sangam, a location believed to have been sanctified during the mythological Samudra Manthan.
