Mahakumbh: Adani Group Collaborates with Gita Press to Distribute 1 Crore Copies of 'Aarti Sangrah' to Pilgrims
New Delhi, Jan 10 (NationPress) With the Mahakumbh 2025 set to commence in Prayagraj, the Adani Group's commitment to spirituality through its 'Seva Hi Saadhna hai' initiative is capturing widespread attention.

New Delhi, Jan 10 (NationPress) As the inauguration of Mahakumbh 2025 approaches in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, the Adani Group's spiritual endeavors, alongside its pledge of ‘Seva Hi Saadhna hai’, are gaining significant attention.

On Friday, Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani convened with the Trustees and representatives of the renowned Gita Press and committed to distributing 1 crore copies of ‘Aarti Sangrah’ to the devotees attending the holy city’s Sangam for the Shahi Snan during this sacred occasion.

In a post on his social media platform X, Gautam Adani expressed, “It brings us immense joy that through our collaboration with the esteemed Gita Press, we are able to provide one crore copies of 'Aarti Sangrah' at no cost to the devotees visiting the Kumbh.”

The billionaire also shared photographs from his meeting with the Gita Press Trustees, acknowledging their century-long dedication to the nation through the promotion of Sanatan literature.

“Today, I felt truly inspired by the distinguished officials of Gita Press, who have devoted a century to serving the country through Sanatan literature, and I had the honor of expressing my gratitude for their remarkable service,” he posted.

Importantly, the Gorakhpur-based Gita Press stands as the largest publisher of Hindu religious texts in India. It played a crucial role in preserving Hindu beliefs during colonial times and recently faced challenges that nearly led to its closure. Yet, the Pran Pratistha ceremony of Ram Lalla revitalized its operations, leading to a surge in demand for Ramcharitmanas, prompting the organization to invest in its revival.

Just a day prior, the Adani Group partnered with the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) to provide meals to millions of devotees and pilgrims arriving in Prayagraj for the Shahi Snan and Kumbh Mela.

The ‘Mahaprasad Seva’ will be available for the entire duration of the Maha Kumbh Mela, beginning on January 13.

Gautam Adani announced the initiation of ‘Mahaprasad Seva’ on his social media account.

This extensive service aims to provide meals to 50 lakh devotees, with preparations conducted in two kitchens situated both inside and outside the Mela area. The meals will be distributed across 40 locations within the Maha Kumbh zone, supported by 2,500 volunteers taking part in this initiative.
