During this period, he emphasized the critical importance of the animal husbandry sector.
“There are vast avenues in milk production, value addition, export opportunities, and the start-up culture. The objective of the state government is to modernize, make profitable, and ensure sustainability in animal husbandry. In this regard, we are extending animal health services to every village,” CM Saini remarked.
The Chief Minister spoke to an audience on the third day of the 41st state-level Livestock Exhibition taking place in Kurukshetra.
CM Saini toured the exhibition, examined various animal breeds, and engaged with livestock farmers. He also observed the showcase of premium animal breeds on the catwalk set up at the fair.
He recognized outstanding livestock farmers who excelled in various categories by presenting them with awards.
During the event, CM Saini described the three-day livestock exhibition as “a living embodiment of our rural culture, livestock traditions, and our unwavering commitment to Atmanirbhar Bharat. The sacred land of Kurukshetra, which conveys the principles of action, duty, and equilibrium, now stands witness to the pledge of livestock development and rural prosperity.”

The Chief Minister asserted that animal husbandry is not just a source of income but serves as the backbone of the rural economy.
“The identity of Haryana has been molded by its committed livestock farmers, advanced breeds, and scientific methodologies. Milk and its derivatives, bio-energy, organic manure, and rural employment are all rooted in animal husbandry. Healthy animals, prosperous farmers, and empowered villages are essential to achieving Viksit Bharat and Viksit Haryana,” he concluded.
