New Delhi, July 1 (NationPress) Air Marshal S. Sivakumar VSM has officially assumed the role of Air Officer-in-Charge Administration (AOA) at the Indian Air Force Headquarters in New Delhi on Tuesday, according to official reports.
Commissioned into the Administration branch of the IAF in June 1990, the Air Marshal possesses an MBA in HRM from Pondicherry University and an MPhil in Defence and Strategic Studies from Osmania University.
With a career spanning over 35 years, he has held several significant Command and Staff positions, including Senior Air Traffic Control Officer at a forward base, representing the IAF in the UN Mission in Congo, serving as an Air Force Examiner, and acting as Chief Administrative Officer at a prominent Flying Station.
His extensive experience includes roles such as Command Works Officer and Command Personnel Staff Officer at two Operational Commands, Air Officer Commanding of an Equipment Depot, and Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Air Force Works) at Air Headquarters, along with Senior Officer-in-Charge Administration of an Operational Command.
Prior to his current appointment, he served as Director General (Administration) at Air HQ and is a proud recipient of the Vishisht Seva Medal.
Earlier, on June 1, Air Marshal Jasvir Singh Mann was appointed as Senior Air Staff Officer of Western Air Command.
