Jaipur, July 15 (NationPress) The Cooperative and Employment Festival, organized in celebration of the International Cooperative Year, is set to take place on July 17th in Dadiya village, located in the Jaipur district. The event will be graced by Union Home and Cooperative Minister Amit Shah as the chief guest, alongside the presence of Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma.
In preparation for the upcoming festival, Cooperative Minister Gautam Kumar Dak visited the site on Tuesday to evaluate the arrangements. He convened a meeting with officials from the administration, police, and various departments to ensure everything is in order for the program.
During the site inspection, Dak instructed all relevant departments to collaborate effectively and finalize all necessary preparations. He stressed the importance of providing adequate facilities for attendees, such as seating, drinking water, and refreshments including tea, biscuits, and buttermilk.
Moreover, Dak called for sufficient arrangements for parking, medical services, and the establishment of help desks and a control room at the event venue for public assistance. He further mandated that the control room at Nehru Sahakar Bhawan operate continuously to coordinate with on-site teams and maintain a steady flow of information.
To handle the expected influx of visitors and enhance their experience, Dak ordered the setup of water campers in each block and signboards at strategic points across the venue. He also highlighted the need for close collaboration with police and administrative departments to streamline the issuance of VIP entry passes and called for the installation of LED screens in parking areas.
Given the current monsoon season, he advised officials to account for weather-related contingencies in all logistical planning. Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph provided insights on security measures, traffic management, and parking logistics.
Principal Secretary and Registrar of the Cooperative Department, Manju Rajpal, announced that 40 stalls will be featured in an exhibition, showcasing products from cooperative entities across the state.
District Collector Jitendra Kumar Soni noted that the Additional District Collector has been appointed as the nodal officer to oversee district-level preparations and coordination for the festival.
This esteemed festival is anticipated to attract participants from cooperative organizations and stakeholders throughout Rajasthan, serving as a prominent platform to highlight the cooperative movement and advocate for employment initiatives.
