Jaipur, July 15 (NationPress) The police in Jaipur have enhanced security measures in anticipation of Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah's visit on July 17 for the Co-operation Conference. Following directives from senior officials, police are actively conducting verification checks at hotels and dharamshalas in various police jurisdictions. They are verifying identification and requesting reports on any suspicious persons, as stated by officials on Tuesday.
The Police Commissioner and a team conducted a site visit to Dadiya village, the event's location, to evaluate the security setup. Every segment of the route, extending from the airport to the venue and the public access route to the program, has been meticulously examined for security readiness.
In the meantime, the Minister of State for Cooperation (Independent Charge), Gautam Kumar Dak, held a meeting at the Apex Bank Auditorium on Tuesday to assess preparations for the Co-operation and Employment Festival. He urged officials to finalize all arrangements promptly and emphasized the importance of diligence among officers and staff in light of the significant visit.
Recognizing the anticipated large attendance from across the state, Dak stressed the necessity of ensuring the comfort and safety of all participants. He requested the implementation of suitable arrangements for food, drinking water, accommodations, and refreshments like buttermilk and tea at the event.
To enhance coordination, he mandated the establishment of a help desk and a control room at the venue to offer immediate assistance to guests. Seven designated officers have been assigned block-wise following the control room's formation.
Furthermore, he advocated for the installation of signage to facilitate smooth crowd movement and improved parking facilities, while also highlighting the importance of displaying cooperative products attractively and prominently during the exhibition.
He called for extensive promotion of the program and the distribution of informational materials regarding state government schemes to attendees.
