Jaipur, Oct 9 (NationPress) Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma convened a crucial review meeting at the Chief Minister’s Office on Thursday to evaluate the preparations for the upcoming visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to Jaipur on October 13.
The Chief Minister urged officials to guarantee seamless interdepartmental coordination and to finalize all arrangements efficiently and promptly.
Emphasizing the importance of recent legal reforms, CM Sharma noted that the enactment of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam has significantly transformed the criminal justice landscape.
In celebration of the one-year anniversary of these laws, a six-day state-level exhibition will be inaugurated by Union Home Minister Amit Shah at JECC, Sitapura, on October 13.
CM Sharma highlighted the necessity for maximum public participation and instructed relevant departments to carry out their duties diligently to ensure the exhibition's success.
During his visit, the Union Home Minister will also lay the foundation stone for various development projects and inaugurate completed works, including the commencement of investment proposals from the 'Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2024', distribution of school uniforms to students statewide, Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) of milk subsidies to dairy farmers, the launch of registration for the 150-unit free electricity scheme, and a flag-off ceremony for new patrol vehicles, scooters, and motorcycles dedicated to women's safety. The Chief Minister directed that preparations for each initiative be wrapped up swiftly.
Additionally, the Chief Minister announced a District Collectors and Superintendents of Police Conference in Jaipur on October 13. This high-level assembly will review critical areas such as law and order, land management, good governance, and socio-economic development.
The Union Home Minister is slated to address the inaugural session of the conference, which is anticipated to establish the direction for Rajasthan’s forthcoming development pathway.
