New Delhi/Bhopal, Aug 12 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, had a significant meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his office in the Parliament during his trip to New Delhi on Tuesday.
During their discussion, Yadav briefed the Union Home Minister about the proactive measures being taken for the efficient execution of three new criminal laws that are set to come into effect on July 1, 2024.
These three new criminal legislations, namely the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, are designed to replace the outdated British-era Indian Penal Code, Code of Criminal Procedure, and the Indian Evidence Act.
The inaugural case under these new laws in Madhya Pradesh was filed at the Nishatpura police station in Bhopal.
