This year's Amrit Udyan will present a stunning landscape featuring Coleus, Celosia, Tuberose, and a variety of other rare seasonal blooms in their full splendor.
All visitors will enter and exit through Gate No. 35 of the President’s Estate, situated near the intersection of North Avenue and Rashtrapati Bhavan. Entry to the garden is free, and bookings can be made at https://visit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in/. Walk-in access is also available.
A shuttle bus service will operate every 30 minutes from Central Secretariat Metro Station to Gate No. 35, from 9.30 a.m. to 6 p.m., to assist visitors.
The Amrit Udyan will be closed on February 5 (due to Delhi Legislative Assembly polling), February 20 and 21 (due to the Visitors' Conference at Rashtrapati Bhavan), and March 14 (for Holi).
Special access will be provided on specific days: March 26 for differently-abled individuals, March 27 for defence personnel, March 28 for women and tribal women's SHGs, and March 29 for senior citizens.
Additionally, Rashtrapati Bhavan will host 'Vividhta Ka Amrit Mahotsav' within the Amrit Udyan from March 6 to 9, 2025, celebrating the cultural heritage and unique traditions of Southern India.
The Amrit Udyan is regarded as the heart of Rashtrapati Bhavan. Initially, it comprised the East Lawn, Central Lawn, Long Garden, and Circular Garden.
During the presidencies of A.P.J. Abdul Kalam and Ram Nath Kovind, additional gardens were introduced, including Herbal-I, Herbal-II, Tactile Garden, Bonsai Garden, and Arogya Vanam.
The Rashtrapati Bhavan website highlights that visitors can enjoy various attractions, including a specially designed garden for children called Bal Vatika, which features a story about a 225-year-old Sheesham tree, a treehouse, and a nature classroom.
There is also a lively food court where guests can enjoy refreshments while viewing ongoing exhibitions.
